Ooooh! So, if we line up a projector for the group, you can walk us through this live for the group? We would need an official guide and, who better than a representative from the KOCM to enlighten us. MAYBE this will enlighten us about our group name!!! Something easier than the ‘Wannebe Greek Speakers’, perhaps, but in the same spirit…

I guess by Sunday I might know how to work the tool, but I don’t have a projector to speak of. If anybody wants to know about the online codex, I’d be happy to discuss it. Otherwise, I’ll keep my geekdom to myself.

I will interpret that as a typo (gReekdom…it’s more flattering), esp. since it’s a pretty catholic thing to be interested in; and, I might be able to line up a projector. If we can’t get one, I am sure I can get one in the future with a little advance notice. It will be just as critical that we obtain the necessary equipment once football season arrives, y’know.

geekdom, gReekdom . . . pretty much synonymous for me. you could always spot the language geeks on campus because they had 3″ loose binder rings with vocabulary notecards either hanging off their backpacks or rifling through their hands as they walked wherever they went. it’s an obsession really. I still have all my Hebrew cards intact.
now that CODEX SINAITICUS is upon us in less than 3 hours, I am going to have to start reading stuff again. too bad there isn’t a need for a greek class somewhere. i could use the practice.
and that reminds me, i need to talk to Father Parham to see if he was made aware of this online resource. even though i’d wager he has some Revelation manuscripts in his office, he might be interested to know about this. AND IF ANYBODY TALKS TO HIM BEFORE ME ABOUT IT I WILL HAVE TO BRING THE PAIN AND LAYETH THE SMACKETH DOWN UPON THEM!
All have been forewarned.
