Gladys Real
Just got word that Gladys Real, wife of long time member Malcolm Real passed away last Saturday and services are pending. Tentatively set for Friday out of St. Gregory the Great. Will put out another email as soon as details become clear.

Mrs. Gladys Louise (Pennington) Real, passed away July 14, 2008, at the age of 79 at Garden Terrace Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Houston, Texas.
She was born February 4, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas where she resided for 76 years. Mrs. Real is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Malcolm E. Real and their three daughters: Susan Broll and husband Frank of Galveston, Deborah Real of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Brenda Greco and husband Chuck of Houston: seven grandchildren, Christopher (Shannon) Broll, Elizabeth (Brandon) Armstrong of Houston, Nicole (Matthew) Lindner of Lubbock, Glenda (Todd) Peterson of El Paso, Lauren (Sam) Valdez of Durango, Colorado, Quintin (Kristin) Greco and Tracey (Michael) Garza of Houston: eight great-grandchildren: Hannah and Harrison Broll; Truman and Walter Armstrong; Grant and Elise Lindner; Taylor and Kendall Peterson: sister, Catherine Griesbaum of Boerne.
Mrs. Real was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in San Antonio for over 50 years and a resident of St. Dominic Village in Houston, Texas for the past two years. She was a loving wife, mother, granny and great-granny and will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her.
SERVICES The family will receive friends at 6:00 PM, on Friday, July 18, 2008 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, San Antonio, TX with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in San Antonio. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum in San Antonio. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Dominic Village, 2401 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77021.
