About Me
My name is Andy McNutt, founder of Polycarp Ministries, and I am a Catholic convert. I serve the Lord now as an evangelist. I came into full commuion with the Catholic Church after an eight-year search for the historical Church that Jesus Christ founded. Before entering the Catholic Church, I served as a Southern Baptist pastor. My ministry and education experiences have given me a wide array of teaching and speaking topics that I love to share with parishes in an effort to encourage and renew your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Polycarp Ministries is the name I chose for my evangelism ministry because of the Christian example impressed upon me by Saint Polycarp of Smyrna. He was one of the first saints to introduce me to the Catholic Church, and there are few others who have shown me a better example of humility, courage, and Christlike love. Saint Polycarp is truly my hero, and I honor his witness and love of Jesus Christ by naming my ministry after him.
