The Club
The Off Brand Dad Club is a group of husbands and fathers dedicated to an Off Brand lifestyle.
What is an “Off Brand” lifestyle? Well, we believe society is branded. That is, society is primarily focused on material wealth as an indication of status. What car we drive, what house we have, our tv’s, clothing, everthing we buy has a label associated with it according to societies standards. Rather than subject ourselves to these labels, we seek off branditidy, the pursuit of living in the world but not of it as the Bible call us.
We do not subscribe to society raising our children or dictating our morality. Rather we look to Christ and the Church for guidance and seek to protect our children from the influence of the Devil and his lies. We raise and form our children in the the Catholic Faith as believers of God’s Truth and doers or His will.
We are not so called cafetera Catholics, we believe all that Holy Mother Church teaches and bodly proclaim our obiedience to God’s law. We protect the sacticty of life by following the Church’s teaching on contraception, abortion, and human rights.
We live to be examples of God’s love and truth in the world and hold ourselves accountable for our actions, contrary to the instant gratification lifestyle society promotes.
And lastly, but most importantly, we lay down our lives for our wives. Not figuratively, but truely. As Christ calls we sacrifice ourselves to our marriages in truth, dignity, and love. We cherish our wives as we committed to do by saying, “I do.”
Basically, we are Catholic hunters and gatherers who don’t allow the world to take over.
