Graduation Day

Friday was graduation day for the eighth graders of Shelby County schools. We went to First Baptist Church to have the ceremony. It lasted about 3 hours. It was a beautiful ceremony except they could have made it a little shorter. I just want to say thank-you to my teachers, not just at school but my teachers at home (parents) and my spiritual leaders for helping me get this far.

Please Pray

Please pray for a friend of mine who is moving to Texas. She has only lived in Memphis for about a year. I got to know her at my youth group and she is really great and I am going to really miss her. She moves the 30th of this month and it is going to be real hard on all of them. Please pray for their safety traveling down and that she may meet new people and that her family might stay grounded there for a while.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!
Mother’s are a necessity of life and I especially don’t know what I would do without mine. Today is the day to celebrate them. Only one day out of the year. Today tell your mom how much you appreciate all the things she does for you!

There is a light

Have you ever like actually sat down and listened to a song? I found myself listening to his song on the radio called tunnel. You can listen to it in my song list on the left. The main reason this song inspires me so much is that it show me that whatever is going on right now, it will pass. If you get a bad grade it’s not the end of the world. Strive to do better next time. If you just had a meager fight with your parents, it will be OK. Try to get along better or do what I end up usually doing, agree to disagree. So next time you just can’t seem to get past this one huge thing, Listen to this song. It will lift your spirits, It defiantly lifted mine.
