Metting the Newsboys

As some of you know Newsboys ( a christian rock band) is our favorite band. Well went to see them on Saturday in concert and boy did we get a surprise. We got there and my dad had bought us floor tickets on the seventh row. So we were already pretty excited. Then we pass the Global tribe booth (which is an organization working with Newsboys to get homes for children without). So we go over there and we see that it says we could meet the Newsboys. Long story short we got to meet them and it was awesome. Paul Coleman (the guitarist) gave me a hug and told me I had character, so now you can imagine what I repeated over and over and over again that night. If you don’t listen to the Newsboys or you have never heard of them you should check out their website @ newsboys.com. It is pretty cool!

Concert Festival

Today we went to a concert festival as the Arlington Middle School band and received all superiors from all judges. We had to perform two pieces that we have been working on and sight read one piece. It is an honor to be called the first band at Arlington Middle to receive the highest ranking you can possibly get, which is a 37 out of 37.

Snow, Snow, and Snow

It’s finally snowing down here! We were out of school two hours early today because of it. We never get any snow down here so this is pretty exciting. Be safe out there and have some FUN. I know I will.

MATT

On this day last year a 4th grade boy named Matt died at school. I would like it if all of you would pray and keep his family on your mind today! Be sure that life is going well today because who knows what will happen tomorrow. Hug your family today.

Friends

Do You Ever Wonder If Your Friends Are Just Using You?

This year I transferred to a new school and I won’t lie, It WAS HARD! I have never felt so out of place in my life. The first day I hung out with these girls that weren’t very cool. I met another person the second day and we are now as you could say “Two Peas In A Pod”. But there was another girl and I thought she wanted to be my friend but it ended up all she was doing was talking about me behind my back and using me to help her with other things she needed. This person began to call people names in front of me and when I confronted her about it she just decided to call me a not so nice name. Anyway just be careful who you decide you want to be friends with!
