Mr. Collins was the Drama teacher were I will be going to school next year. He died two days ago of what we think was a heart attack sometime in the night. Please pray for his family. That they can have some closer and that friends and family are surrounding them right now. Please also pray for the repose of his soul.

Recently I have taken on reading the Bible. As I have read along these past few months I have been noticing that God is really mean and hurtful in the Old Testament. I did not understand why He was being this way because I have been told that God never changes. If God never changes then why is he so mean in the Old Testament and suddenly want to help and save people in the New Testament. This was the question that rose in my mind. I talked to my Youth Minister. He told me that if God had not been harsh on people in the “old days” then we would still be worshiping false gods. God doesn’t change he just needed to teach us with discipline before we went down the wrong path.
So, does God change?
NO!
Should we change for him and to be better Christians?
YES!
