Today I am pondering the daily readings. (The right side column of this blog has links to the daily readings for your use.)
In Exodus we read “I myself will send an angel before you to guard you as you go and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.” Ex 23:20
Do we pay attention to the fact that God has a path laid out for us? It is up to us to discern His will for our lives. Often I catch myself doing what “I” think is right without consulting God for His direction. That is why Mass is soo important to me each week. Mass constantly reminds me that I can do nothing without Christ. “He is my rock and my salvation.”
The more we learn to rely on Jesus, the more Joy we find in our hearts; because then we are allowing God to be God, and man to be man.
