This Week with Incarnation Teens

SCRIPTURE AND DEVOTION OF THE WEEK

Romans 4:20-21

He [Abraham] did not doubt God's promise in unbelief; rather, he was empowered by faith and gave glory to God and was fully convinced that what he had promised he was also able to do.

How many times throughout our lives have we doubted God?  How many times have we thought that He hasn't answered our prayers?  How often have we been impatient with God while He does His work?

God has made a promise to us: He will save us from our lives of sin.  In fact, He's already done it; we just have to accept His love and His law.  Do you believe that?  Do you have as much faith as Abraham?

This week, try to find some time to talk to God about your doubts.  Ask Him to show you just how much He loves you and wants to be with you.

ON THE CALENDAR THIS WEEK

Holy Mitts Softball Practice: Saturday, June 7 @ 1 P.M. (Bring your glove and something to drink!)

The Catholic Classics Movie Series: Wednesday, June 11 (Watching Prince Caspian at the C'ville Cinema); call or email for the exact time.

As this week comes to a close, I want everyone to know that I have decided pursue a career as a Motown hits cover singer!  I will be singing great songs from the Temptations and Diana Ross!  He he!

God bless!

20In the promise also of God he staggered not by distrust; but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God:
21Most fully knowing, that whatsoever he has promised, he is able also to perform.

Instead of Motown, why not join me in a revival of Xanadu. I just need to know if you can roller skate and do you have a fog machine I can borrow?
