Dearest readers, please accept my apologies for the lack of information in recent weeks.  The internet is not always as wonderful as people make it out to be.

Nonetheless, I will return to regular (weekly or more often) posting very soon…like tomorrow!  Keep an eye out for the latest important information.

God bless!

This is a reminder for all high school youth and your families!  Tomorrow is our second annual Family ENCOUNTER!

Here’s what everyone should bring:

  • Last name S-Z: dessert

All you need to do is send an email to me and tell me how many people from your family will be coming, and then bring your assigned dish…we want to be sure that there is enough food for everyone!

God bless!

WEEKLY DEVOTION

 Acts 1:8-9

“‘But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’  when he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.”

Today (officially) and Sunday (by the Church’s liturgical calendar) we celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord.  We celebrate the fact that Jesus’ work on earth was completed; and that He promised to send the Holy Spirit to us.  It is because of the power of the Holy Spirit that we have the ability to show God’s love to people around us.  That’s your task this week: be a witness to whomever you meet, especially your family members!
