to elaborate further, I can't really picture myself in either situations and i've only really felt called to be a priest twice, and then the feeling just died away after one or two days

well, right now it's kind of hard to say. i guess right now my biggest problem is trying to figure out what my vocation is. whether it be the priesthood od the married life, i have no idea and it really is frustrating

no worries. getting off topic is somethings good. But I'm sure I echo the readers sentiments when I say, "what's with your spiritual journey? where you at bro?"

Louis this is great.

Also the Bible states: "The one who began good work in you will complete it."

Remember that these tests are God working in us and it is up to us to respond. You said, "God will never give us a test that we cant pass." That's absolutely correct, so instead of being troubled by problems we should be excited about solutions.

You da man. Keep up the good work.

In Him.

Louis I think you are on the right path. Two deaths do not make a life. Think about Pope John Paul II who went to visit his accused, yet failed, assinator in prison. What a WITNESS!!

The death penalty is born out of man's anger, not compassion. What we should be focusing on is helping families of victims to heal, not to focus their hurt in the form of agression on the accused murderer.

Also, the cost of prisons is high because for some reason a person with a finance degree loses the ability to balance a budget when they enter politics. Don't ask me why, I can't explain it. You'll figure it out as you become a tax payer. It's a democratic society phenomenon that is yet to be studied by Cambridge U.

So, what do we do about this??? How do we Witness our belief that every human life is sacred from Conception, when life begins, to natural death when life moves to eternity?
