I applaud the effort of the Packers tonight on Monday Night Football. I am pleased with the play of Aaron Rodgers, thus I’m excited for the start of the Aaron Rodgers Era.

I was kidding when I said “Brett Favre Who?”. I still think the situation stinks, but I’ll always be a Favre fan.

I don’t doubt there was probably a direct correlation between the Packers victory tonight and the prayers of my sister which she did just before the game. She read the beginning of the
Liturgy of the Hours. I encourage everyone to read these wonderful liturgical readings and prayers. Don’t know what the Liturgy of the Hours is? Go here:

My father has always encourages me to read these daily. I don’t do it as much as I should, but I really want to start. I honestly feel SO much better when I get into a habit of engaging in these readings/prayers.
These books (or online PDF files) are what priests and deacons are reading daily.

Reading the Liturgy of the Hours is sort of like golf. Muscle memory comes from hitting a lot of golf balls. Muscle memory is also the only way to play consistent golf. The Liturgy is kind of like “practice”
for your soul. Yes, it is possible to tie golf into pretty much any life situation. Enjoy.
