This week I traveled for about 20 hours on the first three days, going from Memphis to Atlanta, to Ocoee, to Cleveland (TN), to Chattanooga, to Atlanta, and back to Memphis.
I went to YMCA Camp Ocoee in, that's right you guessed it, Ocoee, TN, and I checked out the lodge that my group is going to be staying in this Summer while we help with Habitat for Humanity in Cleveland, TN.
This Lodge was AMAZING!!! It houses 30 people, 15 on the top floor and 15 on the bottom floor, it has a view of the lake and both floors have a large meeting area. The Kitchen, like the rest of the lodge is freakin' HUGE, it has two of everything, I guess you kinda need something like that when you have 30 people living under the same roof.
I am super excited about this trip now and I'm counting down the days until we head over there.

What it is everybody? I'm not a new face to the blogging community nor am I a new face to the this great place we call CatholicDestination.com. What I am is a Youth Minister for Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Germantown, TN. What I'd like to do is provide a reference for folks like me who try to guide those yoots to Christ.
See, I already messed that one up, I said what I would like to do, but I hope and pray that it is Christ who is trying to do this through me, for this ministry is not mine, but His.
My plan (I bet God finds this hysterical)… is to be an instrument of God by sharing my ministry ideas with you, the reader. To give you an inside look to what is going on in this ministry, to tell you what worked, to tell you what didn't, and to give suggestions and take suggestions on how to improve ideas, so that "Our power will be in presenting the same old truths in new forms, Fresh New Tone and Air and Spirit" — Servant of God Fr. Isaac Thomas Hecker.
