Candidates must be a Catholic in good standing with absolute commitment to Catholic teaching.  Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in educational administration/leadership.  They must have at least 5 years of related professional experience exhibiting outstanding leadership, creativity, and vision with the proven ability to effectively manage, communicate and collaborate with staff, departments and consultative bodies.  This individual will be expected to articulate and implement vision of learning and provide effective service, support, supervision and evaluation to school staff.  Demonstrated use of fiscal resources efficiently, effectively and equitably is critical.

We are the a K-12 campus in Shiner, Texas and we are seeking a Principal for our Elementary who will be subservient to our High School Principal.

SCHOOL DESCRIPTION: We are a very faithful Catholic school in a town of 2000 people where 80% of the town residents are Catholic of a Czech or German heritage.  We offer a more conservative and classical curriculum and we wish to improve the same.

JOB TITLE:  Elementary School Principal

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The employee will direct the affairs and staff of the

k-12 portion of our school, overseeing 16 teachers and 220 children.  In collaboration with our High School Principal, he will help guide the school to a higher level of excellence that balances a total fidelity to the Magisterium of the Church with an exceptional curriculum.  It is our desire to firmly travel towards a classical approach to all teaching.  The employee must be able to lead that effort.

REQUIREMENTS:  Total and informed fidelity to the teachings of the Church.

Serious study with advanced degrees preferred in a traditional academic discipline such that one would be able to understand the effort to build a classical school.  Skill in the management of people.  Skills in the direction of young people.
