Vacation

August 2nd, 2008

This week I am on vacation in MI on the lake. We are doing nothing for the whole week.

I’m reminded that we all need vacations in life: physically, mentally, and spiritually. My spiritual director is good at reminding me we all go through seasons and so if you are struggling in prayer, don’t be discouraged, maybe your soul is on vacation. Get back on the horse and come home..

I’m sure there will be lots to post about our trip. Right now, I’m going to enjoy a swim.
