A part of our country is under attack. Not from an enemy, not in military form, rather in the slow destruction of the MS river. See this article.

One picture is particularly grueling.
Imagine looking at your town from this angle. I can’t imagine the agnuish our friends are enduring throughout this situation.
Lord we pray that Your hand of mercy would rest upon those affected by this flooding. Give them Your Grace of strength and courage. Protect them with Your compassion Lord and deliver them from this strife.
Mary, our spiritual mother, we ask your intercession for the faith and purity of those affected.
St. Joseph, pray for them.
