Every day conversion from the eyes of a Catholic convert.

what do you see in me

Posted by bob on May 21, 2008

Sometimes I wonder what God sees in me that makes Him, the God of the Universe, call me to minister to His youth and be a vehicle for His love.  I'm a fallen human who trips up a lot and absolutely needs Confession.  Thank you Father for giving us Your Son and making that possible.

WHAT DO YOU SEE IN ME?

Dsus   D  Dsus   D

(verse 1)

D                                             Em

My heart is thirsting for you my God

 Am7                                                    Dsus

There’s nothing you haven’t done for me

 D                                Em

I’m taken by your presence

 Am7                                        Dsus

And your Glory overwhelms me

(REFRAIN)

G                         D

What do you see in me

Am7

That makes you call my name

D                                Em

That makes you take my shame

(verse 2)

D                                 Em

How amazing is your love

 Am7                                                    Dsus

There’s nothing you haven’t done for me

 D                       Em

At your feet do I fall

 Am7                            Dsus

Calling out your name.

(REFRAIN)

(BRIDGE)

G                          D

It’s Your Glory inside

                                    Em

makes me stand and scream

 G                        D

Takes me to this place

                           Em

Here before you now

 Am7                            D  Dsus

I yearn for your face

(REFRAIN)

G                                 D   Em

What do you see in me
