Lately I've really been thinking about people who have touched my life.  I'm not sure why exactly…maybe so I can pray for them and be thankful for them?  Whatever the reason, I know that without them, I wouldn't be the person I am today.  The funny thing is, I'm not sure many of them realize how much they meant to my life and faith, although I've had a chance to tell a few.  One of those people is Bob Rice.

Bob was an adult leader in my youth group when I was in high school.  Bob and I were never really close, but I did look up to him and admire him greatly.  He had this enthusiasm and charisma that was contagious, and he was so creative and original that people were drawn to him.  He wasn't afraid to be himself in front of us, as so many adults were.  By his actions, he basically said, "Hi!  I'm Bob, I love Jesus, and I want you to love Him, too."  In so many ways, it rubbed off on me.

Thankfully I had a chance to see Bob again last year, and it was amazing.  He's still the same Bob (only a little wiser).  It amazed me that he still has the same enthusiasm and charisma, the same creativity and originality.  I'm really thankful for Bob and his ministry, for sharing his talents and passion for the Lord with everyone he meets!  Check out this video and maybe you'll see what I mean.
