Don’t miss these links, especially the Catholic-Forum. It has sermons and catechism lessons from Saint John Vianney. Just read some and you will get a taste for his passion for holiness and love for Jesus Christ. His heart burned to see souls reconciled to God, and, speaking as one who has seen the power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, it brings me great joy to read of the countless men and women who came to him for this ministry.
Speaking of Reconciliation, the weekend is here. How long has it been since you’ve been to Confession? Even if you are not guilty of Mortal sin, you can still receive a great benefit and spiritual blessing from going to Confession. Remember, it’s not about shame or punishment, it is about receiving the cleansing power of Christ’s forgiveness in a very real and tangible way. It is to have your heart cleansed and your spirit uplifted, being renewed in the matchless grace of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Why not go this week? You’ll be glad you did.
